Venezuelan VP To US: Present Maduro and Wife With Proof Of Life
Delcy Rodríguez says she has no idea where Maduro is, following Donald Trump’s assertion that the President and his spouse were taken prisoner.
After U.S. President Donald Trump claimed that President Nicolás Maduro and his wife had been arrested, Venezuela’s vice president, Delcy Rodríguez, stated she had no idea where they were.
Demanding what she called a “proof of life,” Rodriguez called on the United States to present proof that the Venezuelan leader and his spouse are still alive.
Maduro and his spouse were apprehended and taken to the United States, Trump declared on Saturday.
The Vice President responded to the allegation by saying that the US needs to prove the President and his wife are still alive.
Senator Mike Lee of the United States has also stated that Maduro will be charged with a crime in the US.
This came after Trump made a statement about the purported capture on Saturday.
Rodríguez reaffirmed on Saturday morning that she does not know where President Nicolás Maduro and his wife are, and she once more called on “the United States to provide a ‘proof of life’ for them.”
