The president of Iran declares “total war” with the United States, Israel, and Europe amid rising tensions in the region
Iran is at “total war” with the United States, Israel, and Europe, according to Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.
According to comments released by Iranian official media, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has stated that Iran is involved in what he called a “total war” with the United States, Israel, and Europe.
Speaking in comments quoted by Israeli media, Pezeshkian claimed that Western nations are seeking to weaken Iran on several fronts and that they are attempting to bring the nation “to its knees.” He maintained that the current conflict is more complicated than the Iran-Iraq war of the 1980s and that Iran is currently under concerted pressure outside of the battlefield.
Pezeshkian stated, “This conflict is far more complicated,” pointing out that Iran is being targeted from an economic, cultural, political, and security standpoint. He claimed that today’s problems are scattered and ongoing, in contrast to previous conflicts with distinct military lines.
Pezeshkian claimed that despite these pressures, Iran’s armed forces have become more formidable during the brief but fierce air battle with Israel in June. He threatened to respond more forcefully to any attacks in the future.
The remarks, which highlighted continuing military and diplomatic tensions, were made public ahead of an upcoming meeting between US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at Mar-a-Lago.
After Israeli strikes sparked a brief air war in June, hostilities intensified. While Iranian missile assaults killed people in Israel, Iranian officials reported heavy losses, including nuclear experts and top military officers.
In order to destroy Iran’s nuclear enrichment capability and eradicate what he called a serious security danger, President Trump declared on June 22 that the United States will launch strikes on Iranian nuclear sites in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan.
