Waha Oil of Libya expands the Farigh field with two gas wells

The state-owned National Oil Corporation subsidiary Waha Oil Company in Libya said on Sunday that two additional gas wells are now active at its Farigh field.

It successfully brought two gas fields with a daily production rate of 14 million and 12 million cubic feet of gas, respectively, onstream, according to a statement.

According to the report, this action is essential to supplying natural gas to meet local demand.

Waha works as a joint venture with ConocoPhillips, TotalEnergies, and opens a new tab.
