Venus Williams reveals that she secretly married Andrea Preti in two ceremonies held in Florida and Italy

In an intimate, two-country ceremony based on love, family, and intention, tennis legend Venus Williams formally started a new chapter in her life by marrying actor and producer Andrea Preti.

The pair exchanged vows twice, first in Ischia, Italy, on September 18, and then in Palm Beach, Florida, according to Vogue. Although Italy had always been the ideal destination, the celebration was expanded due to practical considerations.

Since I’m a foreigner, the paperwork can take up to eight months, so we didn’t have enough time to fulfill our dream of being married in Italy. As a result, we chose to get married again,” Venus said.

Venus’ origins were mirrored in the Florida celebrations, which took place over a whole week and were organized by Jennifer Zabinski of JZ Events. A yacht party that her sister Serena Williams gave her was one memorable event.

Weddings do, in fact, go by so quickly, Venus told the magazine. “We were having fun together, singing, dancing, and gossiping.”

On December 19, Venus, dressed in a Morilee New York gown, lawfully wed the pair in a courtroom ceremony. Preti characterized the occasion as intensely emotional, stating, “The courthouse ceremony was very deep, emotional, and unique for me.” In my life, that was the second-best day.

In Hobe Sound, Florida, they held a reception with handwritten vows, a larger ceremony, and an after-party. The wedding featured well-chosen music. Venus and Preti celebrated this milestone on their own terms, fusing passion, family, and significance in every little detail after maintaining a fairly secret relationship.
