The official gaming sponsor of the 2025 and 2027 CAF Africa Cup of Nations is Konami
The announcement of KONAMI as the 2025 and 2027 TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Official Gaming Sponsor is a major step toward fusing African football with the world of online gaming.
KONAMI has obtained the unique rights to replicate the AFCON tournament in its widely played football video game franchise, eFootballTM, as part of the collaboration. In order to improve the game’s realism and provide spectators a more engaging experience, this will include adding elite African players and obtaining the official tournament license.
