Kim Kardashian reveals in tears that Kanye West believed she had “faked” her robbery in Paris

The 45-year-old celebrity stated that even her ex-husband had doubts about the veracity of the heist when she returned to Paris earlier this year to testify in the trial surrounding the horrific armed robbery that occurred over ten years ago.

In a heartfelt admission during this week’s episode of The Kardashians, she revealed: “My ex-husband had said, ‘And you faked your robbery for a TV show,’ and had said that in front of all these people.”

It felt like a stab to my heart. I was deeply troubled by the idea that someone who is so close to you, should know you, and should understand how much that affected your life, would not believe you.

“You have no idea who I am.”

Kim was married to 48-year-old Kanye at the time of the heist, in which she was restrained and held at gunpoint as other individuals stole jewelry valued at over $10 million. However, they separated five years later in 2021.

Earlier this year, she was happy to testify, hear the stories and apologize to those involved, and demonstrate that what had occurred to her “was real.”

In her words: “I’m like, see, guys, to finally be able to go to trial and face these people and hear their accounts and apologies.” It was authentic. I’m glad it’s over.

She also declared that she would never let “less than 10 minutes” of her life to rule her.

“This was less than 10 minutes of my life,” she clarified. I’ve had an incredible life. I’ve always felt a little more at ease after knowing what it was. I won’t be ruined by eight, nine minutes? — of utter worry and fear.

Eight defendants were found guilty of various charges related to the incident during May’s trial, and Kim had earlier expressed her thanks for the decision.

“I am deeply grateful to the French authorities for pursuing justice in this case,” she said in a statement to NBC News.

“My family and I were profoundly affected by the crime, which was the most horrifying event of our lives. Even though I will always remember what happened, I pray for everyone’s healing because I think that growth and accountability are powerful. I’m still dedicated to fighting for justice and advancing an equitable legal system.
