Bad Bunny is the most streamed artist globally on Spotify this year
Bad Bunny has left his imprint on this year’s Spotify Wrapped, months before he performs at the Super Bowl Halftime show.
With more than 19.8 billion streams worldwide in 2025, the 31-year-old rapper has regained the title he previously held in 2020, 2021, and 2022.
According to this year’s Spotify Wrapped, Bunny defeated Taylor Swift, the runner-up, to win the title.
The Weeknd, Drake, and Billie Eilish completed the remaining five worldwide artists in the top five, while Kendrick Lamar, Bruno Mars, Ariana Grande, Arijit Singh, and Fuerza Regida were also included in the top 10.
With his album DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS being awarded the world’s top album of 2025, Bunny also dominated the album rankings.
The KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack came in second, followed by releases by Kendrick Lamar, Billie Eilish, SZA, Sabrina Carpenter, Lady Gaga, Alex Warren, and Morgan Wallen.
In fact, Bunny’s song Un Verano Sin Ti completed the top 10.
With several ways for his followers to interact on the streaming service, Spotify has commemorated his top artist milestone.
The platform revealed Fan Experiences, an On-Platform Easter Egg, and more in addition to a Global Film Launch.
Ahead of his Super Bowl halftime show performance in February 2026, Bunny’s triumph portends more.
He reportedly acknowledged that making the news in September felt “good.”
“I felt so emotionally just like it was the first time that I showed the video to one of my friends and I saw his reaction and he was so excited,” he said to Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1. As I mentioned earlier, I’m thrilled, but I’m even happier since everyone else is more delighted than I am.
In his performance, the Dikiti hitmaker has pledged to honor his Puerto Rican heritage.
“I’m going to enjoy,” he declared. I’m going to live in the now. I’m going to showcase our music and culture. I’m only going on the stage to have fun and enjoy myself.
“I’m ecstatic for my family and friends. Puerto Rico and all Latinos worldwide. My cultural background excites me. Everything excites me, not just myself. You understand what I mean.
