Sean “Diddy” Combs Discovers “Brotherhood” While Behind Bars

The 56-year-old rap mogul was recently transferred to the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) in Fort Dix, New Jersey, to serve out the remainder of his sentence after being found guilty on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. Because of the relationships among the inmates, he has found a “home” within the facility.

The I’ll Be Missing You singer told TMZ, via his spokesperson: “There are many misconceptions around prison. A strong brotherhood exists. Each of us watches out for the others. It’s only a good thing.

“In a dark place, it feels a little bit like home.”

The rapper teamed up with an internal organization called Bankroll Bosses to pay for and provide food for every prisoner in honor of Thanksgiving.

Combs and a few others purchased food from the commissary, prepared it for two days, and then distributed it to each housing unit at Fort Dix.

The inmates enjoyed turkey with trimmings like mashed potatoes and corn, as well as a dessert, even though there were no ovens or microwaves and they had to use ID cards to carve the food.

“We cooked the food and sent it to all the buildings,” stated B.I., a former gang boss who assisted in organizing the endeavor. Enough for each building to house roughly 200 people. The preparation process takes two days.

On October 30, Combs was moved to FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey from the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York City. The conditions at FCI Fort Dix, a low security facility, are reportedly better than those at MDC Brooklyn, where Combs had been detained since his arrest in September 2024 on a number of sex offense accusations.

Because the prison in New Jersey had access to drug recovery programs, his legal team had asked that he be transferred there.

The founder of Bad Boy Records had earlier voiced his displeasure with the circumstances in MDC, and his buddy Charlucci Finney had said that Combs had a horrific experience at the prison after waking up “with a knife to his throat.”

“He woke up with a knife to his throat,” Charlucci told the Daily Mail online. I only know that it happened, regardless of whether he repelled him or the guards arrived.

Sean would have suffered if this man had intended to hurt him. He may be killed in a second by slitting his throat with a weapon.

“It was probably a way of saying, ‘You’re not going to be so lucky the next time.'” It’s all intimidation. But it won’t work with Sean. Sean is a native of Harlem.
