Ray J was arrested following a livestream meltdown after allegedly pulling a gun on Princess Love and their kids
As Ray J gets arrested after a traumatic event at his Los Angeles home, chaos is captured on tape.
After a tumultuous livestream showed Ray J brandishing a gun, shouting with Princess Love, and threatening several others inside his house, he was arrested early Thursday in Los Angeles.
The musician and TV personality is currently being detained in a facility in the Los Angeles area, according to officials, after the incident that was captured on camera.
What started off as Ray J ranting on television swiftly got out of control. He went live from inside his house, saying that someone was attempting to steal his kids and that he was having a very stressful holiday. Tensions on screen immediately increased when, in the middle of his tirade, he snatched a pistol from a table and declared he would defend himself.
Yelling could be heard in the distance as he stepped away from the camera, accusing someone of trespassing and ordering them to leave the premises. Princess Love came in a moment later and announced that she was taking their kids.
When Princess Love faced him head-on, the dispute became more heated. As she accused Ray J of pointing the gun at them, she hugged their daughter. Ray J denied her allegations and said that she and her cousin were drunk.
When two more people entered the house, the scene became much more tense. Ray J yelled threats, including that he would shoot, when someone challenged him.
At one time, Ray J was heard telling the man again that he had a gun and cautioning him to leave the residence. The dispute went on as the sound of children sobbing could be heard in the background.
Officers seemed to arrive on the area as sirens became louder. Police were heard on audio securing the house and talking about the layout as they walked around the property. Ray J was later apprehended without incident, according to authorities.
At this moment, Princess Love has not issued an official comment.
