Bad Bunny Shots Back At Critics Of The Super Bowl Halftime Show
Bad Bunny told people who didn’t like his Super Bowl halftime show that they “have four months to learn Spanish.”
The Puerto Rican rapper was chosen to be the main act at the NFL championship game next February. He responded to those who criticized the choice by saying that he wouldn’t bring his tour to the US because he was afraid that immigration officials would be outside of his concerts because of President Trump’s crackdown on the issue.
Bad Bunny said in his Saturday Night Live monologue, “I’m really excited to be doing the Super Bowl, and I know that people all over the world who love my music are also happy.”
The Dakiti rapper then spoke in his own language for 30 seconds before sending a message to people who don’t like him.
“Especially all the Latinos and Latinas around the world, especially those here in the U.S. who have worked to open doors,” he said in Spanish. It’s a win for everyone, not just me. There is nothing that can be done to erase our marks or the things we have done for this country.
Then Bad Bunny, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, made a joke that people who don’t know Spanish will have to learn it in order to understand his show.
The singer, who is 31 years old, joked, “If you didn’t get what I just said. You have four months to learn.
Trump administration officials, on the other hand, say NFL executives will be sorry they chose Bad Bunny for the halftime show at the game in California.
This is what Kristi Noem, Secretary of Homeland Security, said: “They stink. We’ll win. God bless us. At the end of the day, we’ll stand tall and be proud of ourselves.” They are so weak that they won’t be able to sleep at night because they don’t know what they think. We’ll fix it.
“The Department of Homeland Security is in charge of keeping it safe,” she said. Because that’s what America is all about, it’s my job to make sure that everyone goes to the Super Bowl and has a chance to enjoy it and leave.
Corey Lewandowski, Trump’s assistant, said that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents will be at the Super Bowl no matter what Bad Bunny thinks.
He said on The Late Show with David Letterman, “There is no safe place for people who are in this country illegally.”
“Not the Super Bowl and not anywhere else.” We will find you, arrest you, jail you, and send you back to your home country. Be aware that this government has made that happen, which is different from the past.
