CAF President Dr. Mosepe will meet with the presidents of the CECAFA Zones in Dr. Congo

The Council of East and Central Africa Football Associations (CECAFA) presidents will meet with the president of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) on Saturday in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo.

The talks with the CAF Zonal Unions alongside UNIFFAC and COSAFA were kicked off on Friday by CAF President Dr. Patrice Motsepe. Prior to the 47th CAF Ordinary General Assembly, which is scheduled on October 6th in Kinshasa, there will be Zonal Union meetings.

The meeting’s CECAFA Zone Presidents will be led by Burundi FA President and CECAFA Acting President Alexandre Muyenge. CAF’s continuous efforts to improve cooperation and development throughout the continent are exemplified by the gatherings it hosts.

Dr. Motsepe’s involvement highlights CAF’s commitment to working closely with Member Associations via respective regional frameworks, tackling both possibilities and obstacles in the joint endeavor to boost African football’s expansion, the organization stated.

Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Somalia, Rwanda, Sudan, South Sudan, Ethiopia, Djibouti, Burundi, and Eritrea make up the CECAFA Zone.
