Osimhen discloses interest in large money
Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen, a Nigerian international, stated that even though he has received rich offers abroad, he is content with the Turkish powerhouses.
After a good loan stint from Napoli last season, the Super Eagles player who had been desired in Europe and Saudi Arabia for the past few months decided to stay at Galatasaray permanently.
Consequently, the club spent €75 million on the African talent, making Osimhen the most costly acquisition in Turkish football history. In retrospect, Osimhen recently disclosed that he declined big deals in order to stay in Turkey.
“Some clubs there have made me big offers,” Osimhen told the Galatasaray website, according to PulseSports.
Being at Galatasaray makes me happy, but I would be lying if I claimed I wasn’t intrigued.
“My inner self already knew where I wanted to be. They treated me well here. The club has a very different perspective.
