French Montana and Princess Sheikha Mahra of Dubai are engaged

A representative for the 40-year-old rapper, whose real name is Karim Kharbouch, told TMZ that after he strutted the runway at Paris Fashion Week in June for the 3.Paradis Ready to Wear Spring/Summer 2026 show, he secretly asked Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the daughter of the Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, for her hand in marriage.

The Unforgettable hitmaker, who has dated Khloe Kardashian and Iggy Azalea in the past, initially revealed her relationship with Sheikha Mahra, 31, on social media in October when she shared pictures of the two of them on a tour of Dubai.

The first time they were seen together in public, though, was this summer.

Sheikha Mahra wed the Emirati businessman Sheikh Mana bin Mohammed bin Rashid bin Mana Al Maktoum in April 2023.

The couple’s daughter was born in May 2024.

Sheikha Mahra announced the couple’s divorce on Instagram in July 2024, indicating that the marriage did not last long.

She absurdly cited the now-banned Islamic divorce procedure, in which a Muslim man may immediately divorce his wife by saying the word “talaq” (divorce) three times in a row, even though it was illegal for women to do so.

“Dear Husband,” she wrote.

Since you are busy with other people, I am announcing our divorce. I’m divorcing you, divorcing you.
