Sabrina Carpenter Celebrates Her First Year of Short N’ Sweet

Sabrina Carpenter has celebrated the one-year anniversary of her successful album Short n’ Sweet.

The Espresso hitmaker is set to release her latest record, Man’s Best Friend, next week. However, she took to Instagram on Saturday to reflect on the first anniversary of her acclaimed album.

Sabrina shared a collection of memories from the past year with the caption: “Taking a moment from MBF to celebrate one year of Short n’ Sweet.” One year of kiss marks, friendship, and an overwhelming sense of desire.

The 26-year-old singer expressed: “This album is one of my most treasured possessions and has brought me closer to myself, as well as to many beautiful people and places.”

“I appreciate you for tuning in every single day x thank you for attending the shows and singing your heart out, thank you for cherishing these songs and every single lyric just as much as I do!” I appreciate all my friends who collaborated with me on every song, every video, and every live show. This has been one of the most enjoyable years of my entire life. I will always appreciate it! I love you all endlessly.

In the meantime, Sabrina will be the sole artist featured on Taylor Swift’s upcoming album The Life of a Showgirl and admitted that she is “freaking out” about her role in the title track.

In her Instagram Story, the Manchild hitmaker shared, “I know someone who’s freaking out and it’s me.”

Sabrina had the opportunity to open for Taylor on The Eras Tour and expressed her admiration for the music mega star with great enthusiasm.

She mentioned to Rolling Stone magazine last year: “I hold her to such a different echelon.”

“I can’t possibly measure my life, my career, or my journey against what she has accomplished.”

Carpenter recently revealed that she is contemplating a ban on phones at her performances, inspired by a Silk Sonic concert where devices were secured away.

She stated: “This will honestly upset my fans, but absolutely.

“I attended a Silk Sonic concert in Vegas, and they secured my phone.” This concert was truly unparalleled in my experience.

“I truly felt as though I had been transported back to the ’70s — I wasn’t alive.” I truly felt as if I was present in that moment. People are singing, dancing, exchanging glances, and sharing laughter. It truly felt incredibly beautiful.
