The new offer from Real Madrid is rejected by Vinicius Jr.
Vinicius Jr.’s contract dispute took a fresh turn on Friday after the Brazilian winger allegedly turned down Real Madrid’s most recent offer of an extension. Even though Vinicius Jr. and his group have a contract that expires in 2027, they have stated that they do not agree with the club’s proposition.
Financial terms are the problem, not playing time or athletic aspirations. According to the Madrid press, Vinicius wants a contract worth about €30 million a year, including bonuses, which would place him on level with Kylian Mbappé.
The Madrid board and Florentino Pérez, however, are hesitant to alter their pay system and are instead proposing €20 million plus additional variables. The player never accepted this offer, according to Cadena SER, and believes there was a miscommunication with his renewal being viewed as nearly finished.
Citing his performances and important role on the team, the Brazilian international is adamant about being the highest paid player at the club. He has paused contract negotiations while he continues to concentrate on the forthcoming season. His group insists that only under the correct circumstances would the revival take place. Before reevaluating talks later in the year, Real Madrid expects Vinicius will demonstrate his value on the field once more. Although a departure is not yet a possibility, Madrid’s number seven’s future will become increasingly uncertain the longer this situation persists.
