Iñaki and Nico Williams are accused of fraud; they respond strongly

Iñaki and Nico Williams have strongly denied claims of fraud in connection with the purchase of an expensive car. The two stars of Athletic Club admitted that court proceedings are going on in the Aoiz court but strongly denied doing anything wrong.

In a joint statement, the Spanish players said that the accusations have “no factual or legal basis.” They think that the accusations are meant to hurt their reputations. They said the lawsuit was not telling the truth and was based on “unproven” claims.

The brothers say the case is about trying to get them to pay something that they don’t have to. They said again, “Our conscience is profoundly clear,” and reaffirmed their promise to work with the Spanish government totally.
