Endrick refuses to leave, posing a dilemma for Real Madrid

Real Madrid is in a difficult position since they have to decide between Gonzalo Garcia and Endrick, two up-and-coming players. Due to Kylian Mbappé’s move to number 10, both teenage strikers are fighting to remain with the first squad this season and take over the number 9 shirt.

The other will probably go out on loan to get experience, even if the club only wants to maintain one as Mbappé’s backup. The difficulty? Gonzalo and Endrick are unwilling to go. Getafe and England are interested in Gonzalo Garcia, who made an impression at the Club World Cup. However, the 19-year-old wants to battle for his spot at Madrid and is even talking about extending his contract.

However, Endrick has made it plain that he will not be leased away, even if he will be out until September due to an injury. While on his honeymoon, he is already training privately to get back in peak condition since he believes he has a good chance. All transfer requests have been categorically turned down by his camp.

Now, Real Madrid’s employees, notably manager Xabi Alonso, must decide whether to keep one, loan the other, or risk impeding both players’ growth. As this internal rivalry heats up, the club is now postponing its announcement of the winner of the coveted number nine shirt.
