Ed Sheeran, the Grammy Award-winning singer, claims that he will require bodyguards until the end of his life

Ed Sheeran is certain that until he passes away, his family will require 24-hour security protection.

The music star, who lives with his wife Cherry and their two kids on a vast estate in Suffolk, has 24-hour security and is certain that they will require bodyguards “until I pass away” due to the “sinister” occurrences that have occurred.

“It’s things that people don’t really even take into account,” Ed clarified during an appearance on Australia’s 60 Minutes program. such as threats of kidnapping and such. Things have been left on my car and there have been attempted break-ins. The situation is far more sinister than fans showing up to take selfies. Our level of security is likely to remain constant till my death. That’s our current way of life.

Ed continued by admitting that he has also had unpleasant confrontations with fans who have attempted to snap photos of him with his children, Lyra, who is four, and Jupiter, who is three.

“I’ve had some real arguments before,” he continued. I don’t mind shooting photos, but I find it strange to do it with two children, ages three and four. You must accept both the positive and the negative in order to be in the public eye. However, I believe that I would unquestionably want my children to lead more typical lives. Yes, I still want to make recordings and write songs every day, and I still want to tour and draw crowds to my shows. But now that I have a family and am a father, I just want to tackle a different set of problems.

Ed previously disclosed that when a “couple of weird things,” including an attempted break-in, occurred, he increased security measures to protect his family.

Ed clarified during an interview with The Louis Theroux Podcast: “I absolutely believe that there is a particular kind of normal that is our industry. My home is guarded around-the-clock. With my children, I’m secure. Security is with me. Because of a few strange incidents that have occurred over the years, I feel secure with my wife. There are many hazardous people in the world, just so you know. We’ve experienced an attempted break-in. That’s standard practice in my field. That is kind of an underlying issue that is rarely discussed, but it is a necessary aspect of being in the spotlight.

Ed also disclosed that he is really worried about his kids being photographed, therefore he seldom ever brings them out in public.
