Netflix Renews Season 3 of the Popular Series “Wednesday”
The third season of Wednesday has been renewed.
The first half of the second season of the popular spooky comedy on Netflix, starring Jenna Ortega as Wednesday Addams, is scheduled to premiere on August 6. However, a third run of episodes has already been revealed.
“It’s been a dark delight to watch Wednesday cast her spell over audiences across the globe — one deadpan quip at a time,” said showrunners Miles Millar and Alfred Cough in a joint statement. We are ecstatic that she will be making a comeback to haunt the Nevermore corridors in Season 3.
This time, she will delve even further into the Addams family crypt and uncover more of the school’s dark secrets. Or, as Wednesday might put it: “A good exhumation is the best way to bring a family together.”
The Netflix staff verified the information in a post on the official Wednesday Addams X account.
“Season 2 awakens in two weeks,” they wrote. The next omen is Season 3, which is already underway and unavoidable.
Jenna is back with a cast that also features Emma Myers as Wednesday’s werewolf roommate Enid and Gwendoline Christie as the shapeshifting principle of Nevermore Academy.
Producer Tim Burton has stated that there are no hard and fast rules about Wednesday’s future or future seasons.
“I don’t think that way,” he told the Hollywood Reporter in a joint interview with Jenna. Asking the question puts you in contact with two of the worst people.
Wednesday’s story should be continued by Alfred and Miles until the completion of her seven-season tenure at Nevermore.
The crew is investigating the possibility of a spinoff series, however specifics are being kept confidential.
“It’s something we’re definitely noodling; there are other characters we can look at,” Alfred told THR.
Bela Bajaria, the senior content officer at Netflix, hinted that there would be more to discover in the Addams Family.
