Remy Ma Was Allegedly Arrested After a Furious Courtroom Altercation in His Son’s Murder Case

Remy Ma confronted the woman whose father was suspected of killing her kid.

Following an emotional and stressful incident outside a Queens courthouse, Remy Ma ended up in handcuffs.

A tense altercation between the rapper and Jazmin Dior, the daughter of the man her son is accused of killing, was captured on camera.

Jayson “Jace” Scott, Remy’s 23-year-old son, had just been arraigned on several criminal charges related to a fatal shooting in 2021 at the courtroom, where it took place early last month.

Dior posted a video to Instagram showing her directly addressing Remy Ma, saying, “You’re trying to act like you’re tough,” and then instructing her to “go around the corner.” Remy remained where he was. “Come on, beat me up,” she said instead, and started to descend the stairs in Dior’s direction.

The video ends before anything violent happens, but Dior later shared a picture of Remy Ma handcuffed on the same courthouse steps. As tensions escalated, a different film shows the two women recording and insulting one another.

Dior later discussed the event, claiming that Remy’s energy had mistreated her. She said, “You would have thought I did something to you,” in a subsequent post. “I will never again be able to talk to my father. You are still able to see your son.

She also criticized Remy’s demeanor in court, saying that she looked at her “as if her son were the victim” and questioned why she didn’t show any empathy. Where is your regret, Miss?

Following Jayson Scott’s indictment on seven serious charges, including first and second-degree murder, reckless endangerment, and several counts of criminal possession of a weapon, the emotional exchange took place. According to the prosecution, he was recruited to carry out a targeted killing in June 2021 that killed 47-year-old Darius Guillebeaux.

Scott allegedly shot Guillebeaux multiple times before firing again after he was already unconscious, according to investigators. Officers used surveillance footage and phone data to connect Scott and Richard Swygert, his suspected co-conspirator, to the crime. Swygert is already behind bars for a different murder that occurred in 2021.

Last year, both men were arrested. Scott may spend the rest of his life behind bars if found guilty.

Remy Ma has supported her son since the start of the lawsuit and has been loud and present at his court appearances.
