Pusha T Explains His Dissemination of Travis Scott in His New Clipse Single “So Be It”
Strangely enough, Drake is involved.
People have been wondering who might be dissed in every new Pusha T song since 2018. The Virginia rapper gave an explanation for why Travis Scott was his most recent target on the new Clipse tune “So Be It.”
“You wept before me, and you passed away before me.” In front of me, Calabasas stole your pride and your bi**h. I heard that Utopia had relocated directly up the street. And she didn’t need you to eat since her lip gloss was popping. The “net gon” refers to it as they perceive it. However, I have the footage, which I can share and A.E. I can’t unsee it, but they wouldn’t believe it. Fortunately, I’m not TMZing it, but whatever. On the Tuesday, June 17th, release, Push rapped.
Alexander “A.E.” Edwards, Jenner’s ex-boyfriend Tyga’s closest friend, Kylie Jenner, and the Houston rapper’s 2023 album Utopia are all mentioned in these words. However, why is now the appropriate moment for the 48-year-old rapper to shoot Travis? Push told GQ, “The real context of that is that we were literally working in Paris when he called to play [Pharrell’s] new album.” At the Louis Vuitton headquarters, where Clipse recorded the majority of [Let God Sort Em Out], he visited [Pharrell’s] studio. He broke up a session.
According to Pusha T, Travis Scott was more concerned with performing his song than with what he was encroaching on. There, he spots Malice and me. He remembered, “Oh, man, everyone is here.” He’s leaping about, grinning, laughing, and performing his f**king monkey dance. Even though we didn’t enjoy the song, he insisted on playing it and filming Pharrell and us listening to it.
What the ten-time Grammy nominee didn’t play for them was the main problem. “You hear ‘Meltdown’ a week later,” Push continued. “He did not play Drake’s verse, but he did play the song.” The 6 God famously threatened to melt down the Neptunes-era jewelry he purchased from Pharrell’s Joopiter auction during the song. Scott played the fence while his rivals fought one other, and to make matters worse, Skateboard P was a contributor to that album.
Since Scott had already done this, such as including Drake’s Ye-targeted line on “Sicko Mode” in 2018 or even last year when he urged Future and Metro Boomin to perform the entire version of “Like That” at Rolling Loud, the Daytona artist acknowledged that he didn’t hold him to “any standard.” Push said, “He doesn’t have any picks and no loyalty to anybody.” He will either cling to or bounce around anything that he perceives to be hot. However, you can engage in such games with those individuals. You don’t include us. Keep your mix over there.
Pusha T branded Travis Scott a “whore” outright and was particularly upset over the fact that he had deliberately cut ties with Ye and Scott’s group a long time prior. “That’s the idea behind what I’m saying,” he stated.
“That lack of loyalty and that dirty trait they possess about themselves.” Travis possesses that. He has proven himself. I just mentioned three individuals with whom he engages in such conduct. Simply said, I’m not one of them. I’m not with that, dog. This isn’t a sudden development. When Let God Sort Em Out eventually comes out on July 11, it will be interesting to see who else receives Push’s hate.
