Manchester United Eye Semenyo or Eze as a replacement for Mbuemo

Manchester United is planning a change in their summer recruitment strategy, with Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze and Ghanaian forward Antoine Semenyo emerging as top targets—should the team be unable to get Bryan Mbuemo of Brentford.

Mbuemo, 25, has long been a favorite of the Red Devils and has made a lot of impressions for Brentford in the Premier League. Negotiations, however, have been challenging because Brentford is refusing to give up their talisman unless United offers a high price.

United is therefore leaving their options open.

After a successful season that demonstrated his explosive pace, physicality, and direct attitude, Antoine Semenyo, 25, of Bournemouth, has drawn the interest of United scouts. The versatility that United manager Amorim desires is matched by the Ghanaian international’s ability to play in the front line.

In the meantime, 26-year-old Eberechi Eze is still among England’s most technically proficient midfielders. United has been considering the Crystal Palace playmaker for a while because of his vision, skill with the ball, and flare, which may give the midfield a fresh creative edge.

United is resolved not to squander time because of the uncertainties surrounding Mbuemo’s future. According to club insiders, preliminary discussions have already been held to determine whether a deal would be feasible with both Bournemouth and Crystal Palace.
