Jim Jones calls Ciara’s attempt to wed Chrissy Lampkin “amazing counsel” following the BET Awards

Jim Jones is taking Ciara’s advise seriously when she suggests that he wed Chrissy Lampkin.

For more than ten years, fans have been waiting for Jim Jones and Chrissy Lampkin to exchange vows.

But it was Ciara who gave Jim some surprising marriage counsel at the 2025 BET Awards radio room.

Ciara interrupted the Dipset rapper’s interview with DJ Self of Power 105.1 to make a sincere request that he wed his longtime companion.

“Why not? “You guys have experienced life in every possible way,” Ciara remarked. “Let’s just properly seal it since you’re living as though you’ve already done it.”

“You deserve it, and she deserves it,” she continued. Why not? I think, “They’re so fly,” when I gaze at you all. Chrissy holds you down, down, down, and she’s so gorgeous and awesome. Right here, the spirit is speaking through me. You guys have a huge impact on people. The time has come.

Later, Jim talked candidly about the experience in an interview with Loren LoRosa of The Breakfast Club. He made a joke, saying, “I felt like I got scolded by somebody that was younger than me.” No, but it was enjoyable. That suggestion was excellent. To be honest, I needed that support.

“I needed to hear that,” he said, “especially for someone who actively preaches what she teaches. You see what I mean? Compared to many of the things that have been happening out here, my circumstances have been going better. I’m just at ease with what I’m doing, so I’m not pointing fingers.

Since 2004, Jim and Chrissy Lampkin have been together.

Since Love & Hip Hop’s 2011 premiere, their relationship has been shown on reality TV. They still haven’t tied the knot despite numerous proposals. However, with Ciara’s encouragement, perhaps that will soon change.
