Elon Musk Faced Drug Use Inquiries at the White House—Here’s How He Addressed Them in Trump’s Presence

Musk dismisses the New York Times article about his alleged usage of ecstasy, ketamine, and mushrooms when he is standing next to Donald Trump.

When a reporter tried to approach Elon Musk about grave accusations from a recently released New York Times piece during a White House press conference on Friday, he found himself in an awkward limelight. However, the Tesla CEO decided to sidestep the question in front of Donald Trump rather than respond.

Peter Doocy, a reporter for Fox News, attempted to confront Musk regarding a shocking story that asserts the billionaire’s drug use—specifically, ketamine, ecstasy, and hallucinogenic mushrooms—was far more widespread than previously believed.

Doocy started to ask if the news was from The New York Times, but Musk cut him off before he could finish.

“Is the New York Times here?” Musk retorted sarcastically. “Is that the same magazine that won a Pulitzer Prize for making false claims about Russia-gate?” Referring to long-standing disputes between Russia and Trump’s election campaign, he went on.

He went on to say, “I believe the judge just decided against The New York Times for their false statements regarding the Russia-gate hoax, and they may have to return that award.” Let us proceed.

Trump, who sat quietly next him, remained silent.

Musk appears to be dismissing all of this for the time being. However, there is no immediate end in sight for this story.
