Cardi B Responds Vibrantly To Offset’s Audacious Requests

Offset and Cardi B’s protracted divorce takes a dramatic turn!

The rapper is not keeping quiet about her complete distaste and her dire predictions for her ex-husband. She was not impressed with Offset’s most recent maneuver during their divorce.

During her third pregnancy last year, Cardi B filed for divorce from Offset. Alongside her prenatal photo session, she gave birth to her baby girl soon after declaring her divorce.

When Cardi B was on X Rant, she wished her estranged husband well.

Reports that the rapper is requesting spousal support caused Cardi B to lose her temper, ruining her day, according to her. She expressed her frustrations in a heated conversation on X Spaces, expressing how badly she feels betrayed by her divorced husband. 

Cardi even went so far as to mention that she wishes Offset a “slow death” that is full of regrets over their relationship. Offset’s frequent absences from their children’s lives were noted by Cardi, even though she never asked him for financial support.

The celebrated rapper went on to say that since their toddler daughter was born in September 2024, he had only seen her roughly five times. Cardi stressed she has tried to arrange visits, but Offset still won’t come to New York City to see them, saying he doesn’t want to stay in a hotel. 

Given these problems, Cardi revealed that she will use her rage to inspire her music, revealing her resolve to release her next album after a five-year hiatus, according to TMZ.

The ‘Clout’ rapper asked for and received joint custody of their three children.

In her recent tirade, Cardi called her husband a deadbeat and said he doesn’t routinely see their kids, but the artist still wants full access to them.

During her space session, she unintentionally exposed the names of their three children, Kulture, Wave, and Blossom, to Offset, who, through his legal team, requested shared custody of them.

Loren LoRosa of “The Breakfast Club” got knowledge on Offset’s current legal activities from his team. Because he believed Cardi was being irrational over visitation arrangements, the Migos artist filed for legal action, they said.

After being married in 2017, the couple had two near-divorce scares before the singer finally called it quits.

Offset Made New Spousal Support Requests

The rapper is determined to battle until the end, and part of that involves taking a chance with his estranged wife’s money. Offset requested a spousal support order from the court for Cardi B, citing financial difficulties.

While he did not disclose the amount, Offset’s filing was a watershed in the current divorce proceedings. Offset is said to be neck deep in a tax wager of about $2 million.

Initially claiming a deficit of $167,916.02, the Georgia Department of Revenue filed a state tax lien against Offset in March 2025. However, as a result of interest, fines, and other expenses, this sum has since increased to $294,712.

A month later, on April 23, the IRS placed a tax lien on him as well, claiming that he had not paid more than $1.5 million in 2021 federal income taxes.

The total liabilities from both liens now equal $1,866,978.73, according to court filings; however, neither federal nor state authorities have yet to make the claims public.

Last year, the ‘Bodak Yellow’ hitmaker viciously attacked the former Migos rapper.

On social media, the artist has previously attacked her ex-husband. In August 2024, Cardi filed for divorce following a string of heated arguments on social media. 

At the time, she fought back against allegations that he was an unsupportive dad and called him a “deadbeat.” The couple’s conflict has only gotten worse despite her efforts to support him. 

“I wish the worst on this man,” the rapper said in a jumbled post that went viral last year, expressing her wish for Offset to suffer serious consequences.

Declaring that she “truly hates” him and accusing his friends and family of failing to hold him responsible for his deeds, she expressed her intense animosity against him. These contentious posts, some of which have since been removed, show how tumultuous their relationship was.

The estranged spouse of Cardi B is navigating a lawsuit related to the Strip Club incident.
