Salah says he won’t rule out moving to the Middle East, saying, “I can play until I’m 40”

Mohamed Salah, an Egyptian sensation who led Liverpool FC to the English Premier League championship, thinks he can continue to play at a high level until he is forty years old.

As the Reds won a record-tying 20th English league title, the 32-year-old enjoyed a tremendous season, with 18 assists and 29 goals.

With 60 goals in 106 caps for Egypt, Salah stated on ON Sports, “I will quit playing when I have that feeling.”

According to my opinion, I can continue playing until I’m 39 or 40 years old, but I would stop if I felt the need to do so earlier. I have accomplished several things.

“We finalized the deal with Liverpool, but I would have gone to Saudi Arabia if my contract had expired there.”

After been linked to Saudi Arabian teams over the years, the elite winger, who has a contract with the Merseyside giants through June 2027, won’t rule out a future move to the Middle East.

“I continue to maintain a positive relationship with them and keep in touch with them.” “Yeah, we were conversing,” he continued.

Although I am unsure of what the future holds, I am content in Liverpool and plan to remain here for the next two years. After that, I’ll see what I can do.
