Amber Rose Claims Tory Lanez Is Innocent—Based on His Own Words

Amber Rose Steps Up: Calls for Tory Lanez to Get Justice in the Megan Thee Stallion Shooting Case

Amber Rose is in the news because she entered the Tory Lanez issue with audacious accusations and a demand for justice. The model and businesswoman stated in a NewsNation interview with Chris Cuomo that she thinks Lanez is innocent in the widely reported shooting death of Megan Thee Stallion.

Rose said the rapper called her directly from prison to give her his version of events. She claims she is certain he did not shoot Megan after speaking with him directly. Rose assured Cuomo that he was completely innocent of possession of the firearm. “Governor Gavin Newsom should pardon him.”

Additionally, Rose played down the notorious text message that Tory sent Megan following the incident, saying that it had nothing to do with a shooting. “The apologies were not for what people believe they were for,” she added, adding that Lanez will provide an explanation upon his release.

The case’s facts, however, paint a different picture. Lanez is incarcerated for ten years after being found guilty in 2022 of shooting Megan in the foot. Despite the inconclusive DNA evidence in the case, Megan and her friend Kelsey both testified that Lanez was the gunman.

Nevertheless, Rose is resisting the story. She has been posting a petition on social media requesting that California Governor Newsom pardon Tory. The action has sparked fresh internet discussion and rekindled heated discussions about public loyalty, celebrity accountability, and the legal system.

Regardless of whether you consider it advocacy or denial, Amber Rose has entered the arena on behalf of Tory Lanez, and she has no intention of retreating.
