Cassie goes into labor just a few days after giving her last testimony against Diddy
Cassie Ventura is said to have gone into labor just a few days after giving her statement in the federal trial of her violent ex-boyfriend Sean “Diddy” Combs for sex trafficking and racketeering.
The singer, 38, was expecting her third child with her husband, 32-year-old Alex Fine, while giving damaging evidence against Combs, 55, in his ongoing sex trafficking trial. According to TMZ, she was rushed to a New York hospital on Tuesday and is now in the labor and delivery unit.
Cassie started giving evidence on May 12, 2025, about how she says Combs abused her physically and mentally from 2007 to 2018, when they were together.
She finished her statement on May 16, just eleven days before she was said to have given birth.
Cassie and Alex got married in August 2019 and already have two girls, Frankie, who is five, and Sunny, who is four.
In February 2025, they told everyone that they were going to have a boy, their third child.
Cassie testified against Combs about a pattern of abuse that lasted ten years and included beatings, threats, and having sex without consent.
She also talked about how the abuse hurt her health.
Combs is being charged with five federal crimes: racketeering plot, two counts of sex trafficking, and two counts of transporting people for prostitution. Cassie’s claims are very important to the prosecution’s case.
He could go to jail for life if he is found guilty.
Combs was arrested in September 2024 after being accused of sexual misbehavior more than once.
CNN showed a video from 2016 in May 2024 that showed Combs beating up Ventura in a hotel hallway. The video was shown during the hearing, which added to Ventura’s claims.
Combs’s former assistant Capricorn Clark has also claimed that the rapper held her hostage with a gun and tried to talk to Kid Cudi about Ventura’s relationship with Combs.
Capricorn also said Combs hit Cassie and threatened to shut her up.
All of the charges against Combs are not true.
His defense team says that he agreed to the relationships and that the accusations are part of a plot to hurt his image.
The study began on May 5, 2025, and will likely last for six to eight weeks.
