Rwandan cabinet has approved agreements with 12 nations for air services
President Paul Kagame presided over a cabinet meeting on Monday, May 26, which authorized the ratification of bilateral aviation service agreements between the governments of 12 nations and Rwanda.
Guinea, Liberia, Malawi, Mali, Zimbabwe, Georgia, France, Poland, Oman, Suriname, Canada, and Eswatini are among the nations. Treaties between two nations that allow international commercial air transport services between their respective territories are known as bilateral air service agreements.
These agreements make it possible for air transport services to be operated, which facilitates the movement of people, goods, exports, and imports between Rwanda and its partner nations. This strengthens commercial connections and encourages tourism.
The Cabinet also talked about ways to streamline the public investment portfolio, enhance exports, and encourage private sector investment on Monday.
In order to create a uniform framework for safe, effective, and legally compliant data exchange between public organizations, the government also established a data sharing policy.
Additionally approved were periodic reports on Rwanda’s adherence to international human rights accords.
A ministerial order pertaining to state guardianship of minors and international adoption was authorized by the cabinet.
