Jackie Matubia, an actress, claims that she manifested her most recent role in the Mommy Club NBO
Jackie Matubia has consistently made news in Kenya’s entertainment industry over the years, not just because of her acting abilities but also because of her public romances and open approach to motherhood. Jackie’s life has been exposed to the world, including her two baby daddies and the complexities of co-parenting. However, you should reconsider if you believe that the loudness affects her.
The Kalasha-nominated actress is an expert at subtly stifling detractors. Jackie chooses grace over conflict, regularly posting sincere messages on social media that emphasize her dedication to harmony and peace in her blended family. Regardless of what the general public may think, she has always focused on forging deep, meaningful relationships with her girls.
Jackie talked candidly about her most recent adventure—becoming a cast member of The Mommy Club Nairobi, the Kenyan version of the popular reality series—in an exclusive interview with Showmax. Jackie, who has always enjoyed reality TV, from the first Mommy Club South Africa to The Real Housewives series, adds that joining the show felt like the right fit. She made it happen. “I wrote, ‘Mommy Club KE!’ on Instagram when The Mommy Club SA debuted in 2023. When the call came through, I thought, “Manifestation works!” because I had been speaking it into being.
Jackie is more than just a fan; she loves the franchise. She even became acquainted with Mrs. Mops from The Mommy Club SA before realizing she would be featured on the Kenyan edition. Jackie is eager to surprise Mrs. Mops with the big reveal, even though she hasn’t told her yet.
Jackie proudly wears her many hats as a mother, actor, businesswoman, and now reality personality. She calls herself the queen of juggling. She says she frequently feels like she’s living 48 hours in a 24-hour day, acknowledging the craziness that comes with it all. There are sacrifices, such as missing bedtime stories or early morning embraces, and rewards, such as TV milestones and red carpet victories. Nevertheless, she chooses to honor herself by showing up and showing out.
The former Tahidi High actress claims she is at last prepared to let her heart open after two weddings and two years of celibacy. She acknowledges that she wasn’t entirely sure what she needed in a spouse in the past. However, she is now aware of what she wants: a tall, bearded, chocolate man who may have a silver fox aura, and more significantly, someone who will accept, love, and respect her for who she is.
Fans may be hoping to see her baby dads on the show, but Jackie says it won’t be possible. Simply put, one of them is absent, and the other would rather remain anonymous. Nevertheless, she is outspoken about the value of co-parenting and shares this advice: “It’s not about you, it’s about the kids.” Her advice to other mothers is straightforward yet impactful: for the benefit of the kids, let the father be present if he is willing to be there.
She laughs, “Blame it on my resting b**** face,” but beyond the harsh façade, she is a mother who is strongly committed to her children, her work, and her truth. People may assume she is cruel.
Jackie Matubia is once again leaving her imprint with her trademark blend of strength, authenticity, and sass, but this time she’s doing it how she wants.
