East African Icons Come Together: Diamond Platnumz Affirms Collaboration with Jose Chameleone

Diamond Platnumz, a business tycoon and Bongo Fleva star, has made references to working with Ugandan artist Jose Chameleone on a song this year.

Diamond was speaking in Uganda, where on Saturday, May 24, 2025, he and Bebe Cool headlined a coffee marathon concert in Rwashamaire.

The flamboyant performer made a spectacular entry onto the stage and instantly connected with the crowd by belting out some of Chameleone’s most endearing tunes.

He sang “Valu Valu” by Chameleone with the crowd for a bit before stopping to talk passionately about how much he admires him.

Given that they are two legendary individuals who have been raising the standard of East African music for a long time, Diamond stated that he will definitely make sure they record a song together this year for the sake of remembrance.

“You know, I want to make sure that I have a song with my brother, Jose Chameleone, this year. “I’ve never had a song with Chameleone,” the person stated.

Regarding the male musicians, Diamond mentioned that he has been eager to collaborate with Jose Chameleone on a musical endeavor for a long time.
