Jamie Foxx Responds to Clone and Stroke Rumors by Saying “Puffy Didn’t Try to Kill Me”

The comedian-actor opens up about the frenzied rumors surrounding his health issue in 2023.

Jamie Foxx is addressing the strange online rumors that surfaced after his unexpected medical emergency in 2023, one of which linked Diddy to the tragedy.

Foxx talked candidly about his hospital stay during a recent roundtable with the Hollywood Reporter, explaining that a brain hemorrhage caused his stroke. He claimed that until he surreptitiously used his phone, he was unaware of the outrageous rumors going around the internet.

Because I was unable to comprehend what the outside world was saying and I was having trouble accepting that I had suffered a stroke, I secretly used my phone. He declared, “I’m in f–king perfect shape.” “I witness things like ‘Puffy attempted to murder me.'” No, I wasn’t killed by Puffy.

However, Foxx was genuinely shaken by the clone theory. He laughed and remarked, “I flipped when they told me I was a clone.” “I feel like these bitch-ass motherf–kers are attempting to clone me as I sit in the hospital bed.”

In his December 2024 Netflix stand-up special What Had Happened Was, which debuted a few months after Diddy was arrested on accusations of sex trafficking and racketeering, Foxx didn’t hold back.

During the event, Foxx made a joke about the Diddy claims, saying to the audience, “The internet stated Puffy was attempting to kill me. Diddy? I left their gatherings early, so no.

Since then, the same parties have been connected to unsettling claims and widely shared tales regarding alleged “Freak-Offs.”

Foxx then emphasized that his health issue was indeed a serious medical ailment, despite initially telling fans that it was the result of a nasty headache.

He is using comedy to consider the pandemonium and urge everyone not to believe everything they read online now that he is back in the spotlight.
