Kim Kardashian Graduates Law School After Six Years
Kim Kardashian has officially graduated from law school.
The 44-year-old reality star has been engaged in the four-year Law Office Study Program since 2019. Due to her professional commitments and the COVID-19 pandemic, it has taken her six years to complete the program. On Wednesday, her family and friends gathered to celebrate the successful conclusion of her studies.
Kim shared a video of herself donning her graduation cap during what seemed to be a backyard ceremony, captioning her Instagram Story: “I finally graduated law school after six years!!!”
Jessica Jackson, an attorney who supported Kim’s programme, delivered a speech commending the Skims founder for her diligence and commitment.
She stated on stage: “It’s a tremendous privilege to be here today, not only as mentors but also as observers of one of the most remarkable legal journeys we’ve ever encountered.
“Six years ago, Kim Kardashian entered this programme driven by an unwavering commitment to advocate for justice.” There are no lectures from law school, no easy paths from the ivory tower, only sheer determination and a vast collection of case log books to delve into.
Throughout this programme, Kim has committed 18 hours each week, 48 weeks per year, for six consecutive years. That amounts to 5,184 hours dedicated to legal study, time she managed to find while raising four children, operating businesses, filming television shows, and appearing in courtrooms to advocate for others.
On another slide, Kim, who shares North, 11, Saint, nine, Chicago, seven, and six-year-old Psalm with her ex-husband Kanye West, embraced her mentors as she made her way on stage, proudly displaying her certificate of completion.
Khloe Kardashian, Kim’s younger sister, shared her pride in her sibling through her Instagram Story.
In a video, she expressed, “I am so proud of Kim.” I have just departed from her celebratory lunch for graduating from law school.
“I truly cannot believe this has taken years and years to come to fruition.” I take great pride in her accomplishments.
Kourtney Kardashian posted a selfie featuring herself in Kim’s graduation cap.
She wrote under the picture: “Supportive sister.”
Kim, who did not complete her college education, started an apprenticeship with a law firm in San Francisco in 2018. This choice was available in only four states, including California, allowing her to pursue a legal career without attending law school.
In 2021, she took the ‘baby bar’, officially referred to as the First-Year Law Student’s Examination, and successfully passed on her fourth attempt.
