Jurgen Klopp ‘agrees’ to take over as Roma’s next coach

La Stampa, an Italian daily, reports that former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will take over as Roma’s new head coach.

President Dan Friedkin is spearheading the push to join the Giallorossi, and Klopp has reportedly approved the move.

The transfer is thought to be the outcome of a decision that had been developing for a while, with Klopp first thinking about another chance that didn’t work out.

Though many changes are likely, Klopp is expected to spearhead a significant roster revolution with Roma.

As a senior advisor, Claudio Ranieri will support Klopp in his new position.

According to La Stampa, Klopp and Roma have already reached an agreement, therefore the team is expected to undergo considerable changes as a result of the German coach’s arrival.
