90.8 million ksh for a single night! The Profitable Zambian Wedding Performance by Diamond Platnumz
Diamond Platnumz has once again demonstrated his status as one of Africa’s most sought-after entertainers, earning an impressive $700,000 (KSh 90.8 million) for his appearance at a prestigious wedding in Lusaka, Zambia.
The Tanzanian music sensation took center stage at the lavish ceremony organized by Chingola-based businessman Jimmy Karabassis and his bride Kadi, who is the daughter of a well-known Zambian businessman.
According to reports from Wasafi TV and Zambian media outlets, the performance fee for the Bongo Flava star ranks among the highest ever paid for a single appearance in the region.
Diamond made a spectacular arrival in Lusaka, landing on a private jet and being escorted to the opulent Glynview Estate in a fleet of luxury vehicles.
His presence alone established the atmosphere for the evening, highlighting the event’s exclusivity and the charisma he contributes to any stage.
