Israel will allow food to enter Gaza, according to Netanyahu’s administration

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office stated Sunday that Israel will permit some food to enter Gaza, just hours after the military declared it had begun a fresh ground assault in the enclave.

“Israel will allow a basic amount of food for the population to ensure that a hunger crisis does not develop in the Gaza Strip,” according to Netanyahu’s office.
