The Game Loses California Home Due to $7 Million Debt Accused of Sexual Assault
The Game has steadfastly refused to compensate Priscilla Rainey, whose allegations he strongly disputes.
Due to a protracted legal dispute with Priscilla Rainey, who accused the rapper of sexual assault ten years ago, The Game has finally lost his California property.
AllHipHop claims that a judge recently mandated the property’s sale to assist pay off a $7.13 million judgment that Rainey was given in 2016.
Rainey, a She’s Got Game participant, sued the Compton-born rapper in 2015, alleging that he had sexually grabbed her while they were filming.
After The Game did not show up for the trial or any associated hearings the following year, she was granted a default judgment. $1.13 million in compensatory damages and an extra $6 million in punitive damages were awarded out of the entire sum.
In an attempt to collect on the verdict, Rainey has since targeted The Game’s assets. She valued his Calabasas property at about $3,191,375 before the house ruling, which was less than half of what she was originally owed.
The Game responded to the initial ruling in 2016 by attacking Rainey on social media and refuting the charges.
This woman ain’t gettin sh*t! He commented at the time, “Don’t be fooled by these accusations or the dollar amount in the headlines because I put that on my favorite aunties poodle this broad!”
“Every girl on that show would tell you that I never wanted to be close to this chick or touched her. She filed this pointless lawsuit after being fired from the show, which was most likely her aim before the show even began.
The default judgment against the rapper remained in effect when he unsuccessfully sought a new trial in relation to Rainey’s allegations.
Despite his public disobedience, the rapper faces a serious financial and legal setback as a result of the court’s decision, since the sale of his house is anticipated to partially settle the verdict against him.
