The event has sparked even more outrage among supporters who are already angry at the team’s definite relegation and Ronaldo’s apparent disregard for their predicament.

Given Ronaldo’s almost complete absence from games this season—he has only been seen at one, the season opener against Espanyol—criticism of his management has been mounting.

Instead of cheering for his side from the stands, he chose to attend the Madrid Masters tennis final between Casper Ruud and Jack Draper, which has fueled the flames.
