Galatasaray is inspired by Osimhen to defeat Eyupsor

Victor Osimhen was a key player in Galatasaray’s 5-1 road victory over Eyupspor in the Turkish Super Lig on Sunday.

In 36 games in all competitions this season, the 26-year-old Super Eagles striker has scored 31 goals and provided six assists. In the 29th minute, he assisted colleague Roland Sallai in giving Galatasaray the lead 1-0.

Osimhen has now made 26 games in the Turkish top division, increasing his league goals to 22 and dishing out five assists.

Osimhen added the third goal in the 71st minute after Lucas Torreira, a former Arsenal player, made it 2-0 in minute 56.

Alvaro Morata’s goal in the 87th minute made it 4-1, but Luccas Claro gave Eyupspor a goal back in the 79th.

In the 90th minute, Morata scored his second goal, bringing the score to 5-1.

With 80 points following the win, Galatasaray is now five points ahead of Fenerbahce in second place in the league rankings.
