New Allegations Emerge in 2023 Lawsuit Against Shannon Sharpe

Another woman had previously accused Sharpe of rape and threats, stating, “He said he’d destroy me.”

Shannon Sharpe has recently been in the news, and not for favorable reasons.

Initially, he faced a $50 million sexual assault lawsuit filed by a Jane Doe. A previously undisclosed defamation lawsuit from 2023, filed by an ex-girlfriend, has come to light.

Michele Bundy Evans, who claims to have dated the former NFL star for almost a decade, initiated a lawsuit in late 2023, alleging defamation, libel, and slander against Sharpe. Evans also claims he assaulted her in 2010.

She asserts that the assault occurred following a dispute regarding infidelity. In her lawsuit, she claimed that Sharpe “forced” her to perform oral sex, then pushed her onto the bed and raped her, allegedly stating, “I’ll make it so no other man will want you.”

Evans expressed that she was filled with fear and believed that refusing would only exacerbate the situation. She further asserts that Sharpe threatened to destroy her life if she chose to speak out.

“She alleged that he claimed he would use everyone he knows to destroy her.”

Evans states that Sharpe made public remarks that harmed her reputation, which is one of the reasons she filed a defamation lawsuit against him.

Following the incident in 2010, she sought a restraining order but later decided to withdraw it due to concerns for her safety and that of her child.

“Someone knocked on my door and said, ‘Shut up, you f–king bitch,’” she shared with The U.S. Sun. “I let it fall at that moment.” I was accompanied by a child. That was all.

Sharpe, 56, has not provided a personal response; however, his representative informed Page Six, “Michele Evans’ claims are absurd and entirely unfounded.”

“She was unable to locate a lawyer willing to take her case, and upon reviewing her complaint, one would notice it is filled with absurdities.” Shannon has not been in touch with her for many years, and we understand that she remains on probation following a three-year prison sentence.
