Jürgen Klopp has given up on the Real Madrid approach, thus there won’t be a comeback before 2026

Jürgen Klopp will not take up coaching again before the summer of 2026, despite ongoing speculations that he is interested in the Real Madrid position.

According to The Telegraph, the former manager of Liverpool, who is currently employed by Red Bull Football Group in a strategic capacity, has no plans to return to management anytime soon. After almost ten years as Liverpool’s manager, Klopp is stressing rest and personal balance, as his agent Marc Kosicke had previously stated.

Real Madrid’s immediate dreams of luring the German to the Santiago Bernabéu are dashed by this decision. Additionally, the Spanish great is unlikely to make the move this summer due to Xabi Alonso’s €15 million release clause at Bayer Leverkusen. The most likely scenario is that Carlo Ancelotti will continue to lead Los Blancos for another season after both of the top candidates have been eliminated.
