Tanzania will get $441 million once the IMF reaches a staff-level agreement

Tanzanian authorities and the International Monetary Fund announced Thursday that they had achieved a staff-level agreement that, if approved, would provide the East African country with access to some $441 million in funding.

According to the IMF, the agreement was achieved on a second review under its Resilience and Sustainability Facility (RSF) and a fifth review under its Extended Credit Facility (ECF).
