Reports: CB Tre’Davious White returns to the Bills
ESPN and NFL Network announced Thursday that cornerback Tre’Davious White, who agreed to a one-year contract worth up to $6.8 million with his previous team, will be rejoining the Buffalo Bills.
White, 30, spent seven years with the Bills after being selected in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft, though injuries plagued his final two or more seasons.
He got a one-year contract with the Los Angeles Rams after being cut after the 2023 season, but he was traded to the Baltimore Ravens after making just four appearances.
White, who was selected to the first team in 2019 and was a two-time Pro Bowler and All-Pro in Buffalo, will look to regain his form there. That season, he finished fifth in the voting for Defensive Player of the Year and led the NFL with six interceptions.
On Thanksgiving of 2021, White’s left knee tore his ACL. He returned towards the end of the 2022 season, playing in two playoff games and six games overall. Then he tore his Achilles in four 2023 games.
White has recorded 333 tackles, 18 interceptions, 73 pass breakups, five forced fumbles, and five fumble recoveries in 93 career games (86 starts) for Buffalo, Los Angeles, and Baltimore.
