AfroLatin Tamasha will return with a “Dance & Vibes” event at Redroom this April

AfroLatin Tamasha, an eagerly awaited return event, is poised to ignite Kenya’s thriving Afro-Latin dance culture once more. AfroLatin Tamasha is returning by popular demand after their first event was a huge success. They promise an even more thrilling experience on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at the Redroom, Adlife Plaza, Kilimani.

Dancers, music lovers, and cultural aficionados will come together for a night of unadulterated energy and connection at the upcoming event, which promises to be an extraordinary celebration—a compelling combination of African and Latin American rhythms. A spectacular live performance by Ritmo Connexion, a gifted ensemble made up of East African musicians who expertly combine salsa, bachata, kizomba, and semba beats, is anticipated by attendees. With their explosive routines, high-energy Afrobeat dancers will energize the stage and add a visual spectacle. The inviting social dance floor will offer the ideal setting for everyone to groove and interact.

“The enthusiasm we saw at our first event was incredibly motivating, and it reinforced our dedication to offering a regular stage for the amazing Afro-Latin talent in Kenya,” said Robert Munene, founder of AfroLatin Tamasha. The community’s excitement prompted Dance & Vibes, and we’ve planned an evening that promises even more excitement by presenting the lively blend of Latin and African cultures through dance and music. This event, in our opinion, will not only provide entertainment but also deepen the ties that bind our expanding community.

Beyond providing amusement, Dance & Vibes plays an important role in Kenya’s growing Afro-Latin culture. It gives local and regional dancers, musicians, and choreographers a vital stage on which to perform, encouraging artistic expression and advancing Kenya’s creative economy. AfroLatin Tamasha also seeks to celebrate cultural diversity and foster community by expanding the network of Afro-Latin artists and fans throughout Africa and the world.

Dance & Vibes is a crucial step in achieving our broader goal for AfroLatin Tamasha, Robert Munene reaffirmed. It involves establishing frequent chances for our community to interact, enjoy, and take in the diversity of Afro-Latin culture. We cordially invite everyone to join us for a wonderful evening of music and dance, regardless of experience level.

AfroLatin Tamasha Presents: Dance & Vibes is an exciting prelude to the much-anticipated AfroLatin Tamasha 2.0 later this year and a lively pulse check for Kenya’s Afro-Latin movement.
