Ancelotti: Against Arsenal, Real Madrid is relying on Bernabeu magic

Carlo Ancelotti, the manager of Real Madrid, said Tuesday that his squad will attempt to overcome a big deficit against Arsenal in their Champions League quarterfinal match in order to create another unforgettable night at the Santiago Bernabeu.

To get to the semi-finals, Arsenal defeated Real Madrid 3-0 at the Emirates Stadium in the first leg last week.

The Premier League club won thanks to two spectacular free kicks from Declan Rice, an Arsenal midfielder.

However, Real Madrid, the all-time 15-time European champions, have won six Champions League titles since 2009 and have a track record of making unlikely comebacks in competitive knockout stages.

Three of Spain’s most recent comebacks have taken place at the renowned Bernabeu stadium, when they defeated VfL Wolfsburg, Manchester City, and Paris St. Germain.

“The atmosphere at the Bernabeu is unique and magical, as everyone knows.”

We need a little bit of everything tomorrow, including a full game in terms of physicality and team spirit.

“There is no way that any of these things can go wrong,” Ancelotti assured reporters.

“Madrid has the means to repair this relationship.

We possess quality, dedication, experience, and fans. The time has come to make the most of the resources available.

We have benefited greatly from the support of the fans, therefore games at the Bernabeu are crucial.

“To try to change the tie, we must play at our best tomorrow. It will be the same.

Right now, it’s really difficult, but we’ll try to fix it tomorrow.

In their three Champions League meetings, Real Madrid has fallen short against Arsenal, an English team aiming to qualify for the semi-finals for the first time since 2009.

“They are a really well-organized team,” Ancelotti remarked.

“They have a pretty clear plan both offensively and defensively, but they are not the most experienced.

They are concentrating hard on their tasks. And it is their primary concern rather than the atmosphere.

The Spanish team was eager for the challenge, according to Jude Bellingham, a midfielder for Real Madrid.

“I’ve seen a ton of videos and heard it a million times since last week—it’s really inspiring stuff,” the England international told reporters.

“Real Madrid is the perfect fit for this evening.

In addition to being a night that will be remembered by history, it is also one that people in this region of the world are accustomed to.

“Hopefully, another special night can be added.”
