Wendy Williams is reportedly told by a judge that her career is over
Due to health issues, the TV presenter is battling in court for guardianship.
At a recent hearing on Wendy Williams’ guardianship, a judge reportedly told her that her career is gone. Sources tell TMZ that Judge Lisa Sokoloff said, “It’s done,” alluding to the 60-year-old’s time on screen and broadcast.
Additionally, it was stated that Judge Sokoloff threatened to punish Williams’ niece Alex Finnie for future behavior and accused her of leaking material to the media. Additionally, according to the source, the judge referred to Williams’ family as “no good.” According to the publication, the renowned pundit was offended by the comments.
The talk show personality apologized earlier this month for previously agreeing to the courts designating a legal guardian to manage her affairs. Due to health issues, Williams has been under Sabrina Morrissey’s legal guardianship since May 2022.
Celebrity lawyer Joe Tacopina is hired by Wendy Williams to represent her in the guardianship battle.
“She kind of felt like, ‘Hey, I have the court,'” Ginalisa Monterroso, her health care advocate, revealed. I’m going to be paired with a money person. I will be alright. She had no idea that her entire existence would be torn away from her.
She went on to explain, “She wanted to make sure nobody was in her money and she would be fine.”
The New Jersey native talked more about her predicament on The View last month.
“I needed some fresh air.” I went to the hospital because I needed to see a doctor,” she said. “They have no right to claim that I am incapacitated. I don’t!
She said, “I’ve been doing important things all of my life, and these two people don’t look like me,” in response to a question regarding her possible comeback to television. They speak differently than I do. They behave differently from me. I will never be them.
