So Depressing: Jazmine Sullivan Says She Had a Miscarriage
Jazmine Sullivan has some depressing news to share. The Grammy-winning singer revealed in an open Instagram story that the days before her birthday were particularly trying because she is still grieving the death of her baby after a miscarriage.
On April 10, she said to her 2.3 million followers, “Whew… thank y’all for the birthday wishes.” “The days leading up to my birthday have been really challenging. My mother has been on my mind, and I mourn her more than words can express.
She stated, “I never got to meet my 2-month-old son, but I would have been holding him.” “It goes without saying that I’ve been really down.”
The “Need U Bad” singer expressed gratitude for a massage she received on her birthday, providing a little moment of respite from the heartbreak.
She claimed that it assisted in letting go of some of the intense agony she had been suppressing for some time.
She also took a moment to express her gratitude to her fans for their continued support and affection.
“I’m also appreciative that so many of you take the time to write and think of me! It’s all very lovely! Pray for me as I recover from life’s a** whooping, please.
In 2023, Jazmine Sullivan lost both her mother and grandmother.
The R&B diva has previously shared her grieving process with her followers.
She revealed that after a protracted fight with breast cancer, her mother Pamela died in July 2023 at the age of 64.
The singer said that her grandmother had passed away a few months later.
On her Instagram Story, she commented, “Gramma, rest now.” “I’m sure your mother is overjoyed to see you! I sing and write because of these women. What makes me snarky and funny? The rationale for my statements is based on my convictions. Why I adore God! and the explanation for my strength, even when I don’t believe it.
She went on to consider the loss of both family matriarchs in the same year.
“God decided that I could bear losing them both in 2023.” [I’m not sure why], yet his plans are more important than mine. What I do know is that these incredible women were fortunate enough to shape and fiercely adore me. And I’m honored to keep living my life in the light that they instilled in me! Thank you, God, for letting me spend time with them! Grandma, you will be missed. “Give mommy a hug for me,” she concluded.
We are sincerely praying for Jazmine Sullivan’s recovery.
