Meghan Markle says that after giving birth, she experienced a “rare and scary” problem

The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan, experienced a “rare and scary” medical problem during childbirth.

The 43-year-old duchess disclosed that after giving birth, she was given a diagnosis of post-partum pre-eclampsia, a rare and potentially fatal illness.

On the “Confessions of a Female Founder” podcast, the duchess, who is married to Prince Harry and has two children, Princess Lilibet, age three, and Prince Archie, age five, stated: “It’s so rare and so scary.”
You continue to juggle all of these things, and the world is unaware of what’s going on behind the scenes. Even if there are serious health concerns, you’re still making an effort to be there for people in the quiet, mostly for your kids.

The former “Suits” star did not disclose if she experienced the high blood pressure-related medical problem with the delivery of Archie or Lilibet.

She did, however, talk candidly about the difficulty of juggling her aspirations for her business with her responsibilities as a parent.

The duchess clarified, saying, “Lili still naps; she is picked up early. She just attends preschool for half a day. Even if I’m not at the office, she knows where to look if she wakes up and wants to find me. During a meeting, she will be sitting on my lap as a grid of all the executives is displayed. It wouldn’t be any other way for me. I don’t want to pass up those opportunities. If I can avoid it, I would prefer not to miss pickup.
I would rather not miss drop-off.

Additionally, the duchess feels that having children has helped her maintain a sound sense of perspective.

In this chapter while I’m building [business], Meghan, who has been married to Harry since 2018, shared: “What I love the most about having young kids is the perspective that it brings because you’re building something while your child is going through potty training – and both are just as important.”

Great, all right, but where are the Cheerios? Fantastic work. Ten minutes later, you’re advocating for your team on a crucial issue for the entire world. In your own environment, that is really valuable. And in [Lili’s] world, that is extremely valuable.
