A Kenyan musician named Nameless laments his father’s passing

Nameless, a seasoned musician from Kenya, is in mourning at the passing of his father. 

On Tuesday, April 8, the “Inspire” hitmaker—real name David Mathenge—shared the devastating news with his fans and followers on Instagram.

Nameless shared a picture of his father with the heartfelt message, “Rest well, Daddy,” in a succinct but heartfelt remembrance. Having you as a father is an immense blessing! #MathengeSnr. #WithTheAngels
Wahu Kagwi, a fellow artist and Nameless’s wife, also left a meaningful remark beneath his post. “A wonderful father-in-love.” We give thanks to God for your warmth, intelligence, full life, and everything else you were. Until we cross paths again. “Dad, rest with the angels,” she wrote.

Fans and other artists alike showed their support for the post, which received hundreds of reactions in a short period of time. Redsan, Bien of Sauti Sol, Mejja, and other well-known Kenyan musicians were among the several people who posted condolences and consoling remarks in the comments section.

Although Nameless has not yet disclosed any additional information about the funeral plans or the reason behind his father’s death, it is evident from his message how much he loved and respected him.
