Hailie Jade, Eminem’s daughter, gives birth to her first child, who is named after the rapper

Officially, the musician from Detroit is a grandfather. 

Officially, Eminem is a grandfather. In an Instagram post on Friday, April 4, the rapper’s daughter, Hailie Jade Scott, disclosed that she gave birth to her first kid, Elliot Marshall McClintock, on March 14, 2025. She clarified in the description that the picture was posted on the day her kid was due since he arrived early.

The 29-year-old added, “Happy due date//3 weeks earthside little e.” The baby in the carousel upload’s first picture has his eyes wide open and is wearing a knitted baby blue hood. The infant is seen turning away in the second picture.

In a series of maternity-style photos posted to social media last year, Hailie Jade, her husband Evan McClintock, and the Detroit rapper initially revealed the news. The Grammy-winning artist also made the announcement in the October 2024 release of his music video for “Temporary,” which featured Skylar Grey.

Eminem sent sonogram pictures, a video of the new mother giving him a Detroit Lions football shirt with the word “Grandpa” inscribed on the back, and heartwarming footage of him and Haliie Jade in the music video.

In “Temporary,” the 52-year-old portrayed a future in which he had died and exhorted his daughter to move on and live her life rather than wallow in sorrow.
